This exhibit is an extension of the publication project of A Mouth Holds Many Things, a print anthology of hybrid-literary works by 36 women and nonbinary BIPOC writers, being published by Portland-based independent press Fonograf Editions (in collaboration with De-Canon).

The show will feature visual-textual artworks by 12 of the artists also featured in the print anthology: Stephanie Adams- Santos, Samiya Bashir, Jennifer S. Cheng, Carolina Ebeid, Nadia Haji Omar and Christine Shan Shan Hou, Vi Khi Nao, Diana Khoi Nguyen, Monica Ong, Paisley Rekdal, Sasha Stiles, Anna Martine Whitehead.

Works in the exhibit will include: video poems, digital multimedia, fabric/textile books, book art objects, image-text and visual-poetry print works, poetry-and-painting collaborations.
