What began as a conversation between activist Amy Harwood and artist Ryan Pierce about cultivating crossover between their worlds has grown into a community of over 400 artist alumni from throughout the nation and overseas. Its projects include a nomadic residency in wall tents, backpacking workshops on writing, filmmaking and ecology, performances and exhibitions, the annual journal Leaf Litter, a book club, and ongoing support to inform and inspire artists to respond to environmental and land justice campaigns.

This event doubly serves as a final soiree for our time in our St. Johns location. For six years, we have supported creative inquiry for 80+ artists in the region. c3:initiative is honored to host Signal Fire’s 10 Year Anniversary celebration, continuing to share resources with our creative community, a core value which will continue to inform our mission in our new downtown location opening later this year.

Emceed by luminary drag performer Kaj-anne Pepper, Signal Fire's 10th Anniversary event will celebrate and raise funds to support their growing community through live music, an experiential silent auction, raffle, food and fare!
