PUBLISHING RESIDENCY
In collaboration with California-based arts journal Art Practical, this partnership residency program invites AP residents to travel to Portland for a week long immersion into the Portland, OR arts community. We host the residents and introduce them to artists, partners, and creatives relevant to their areas of interest.
Art Practical Residents produce the AP New Takes column, writing by emerging writers on emerging artists. One resident is nominated from a pool of recent graduates from California College of the Arts, who holds the position for one year.
