2021 Alumni Studio Tour Series
As we continue to think about ways we can connect with one another during this time of physical isolation, we are launching an alumni studio tour series! Every month we’ll virtually meet up via zoom with one of our alumni for a fun and fast look at what they are making/thinking.
Here’s a look at the current schedule for this series.
As dates are confirmed you can click through to read more about the event, get registration details and view the archived videos on our YouTube page.
MARCH: Palmarin Merges
Palmarin Merges is a Filipina American artist whose current art practice is all about exploration. Her previous studio practice involved going to the PNCA Printmaking studio and opening a drawer. Currently she uses google maps as one tool for artistic creation and exploration, mapping and exploring the large and small of the Tokyo Art World. Curious or just floating through the interwebs? Everyday is different. Everyday is an opportunity. Let’s see what’s out there! Follow Palmarin’s adventures at @gogokobo and view more of her art at https://www.palmarinmerges.com
